I would never expect this to happen. It seems impossible. But then this is what a miracle is. This is a miracle. Jaeson is right though; we do need to pray for him. To me, it is especially important that the faith is firmly rooted because this is such a high profile case and does generate a lot of attention. As Jaeson writes, "…millions all over Asia would read this uplifting article and possibly find Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior…" But you see, it could well work the other way if you flip it around. That is why I think we need to pray for him, and therefore millions of unbelievers.

Oh dear. I am rather wary and would not hasten to believe the truthfulness of what I read in the tabloid news. Everything that people do in the media, especially if you\’re such a high profile celebrity, is unfortunately but probably tainted and motivated by personal interests. Either that, or the companies that have a vested interest in Edison Chan\’s publicity (negative or positive, publicity of any kind) have a hand in doing this. Umm, and the media kind of loves this. Well… like Jaeson says, it\’s only a beginning and, boy, is it a big work in progress. The real unfortune would be that, even if this guy is genuine, is that you\’re given the illusion that all you have to do is profess your faith to be saved, without realizing the real changes that need to take place in your life… time will tell what Edison does about this new faith now.
