Yay!

Finally! My baby is coming back from her loooong vacation. It has been almost a month, so long! She is supposed to leave on June 2, 2005, but she hasn’t called me yet. She wanted me to pick her up, but I don’t know when she weill arrive…what am I supposed to do?

During this month, although we were apart on the opposite sides of the globe (exactly halfway, since there is a 12 hour difference), I think it has brought us closer. Sometimes, not having someone around makes you treasure the person more. It’s true.

I’ve got to start going for morning jogs again. I tried to establish this habit before, but I always ended up giving up after like one morning. More determination!!!

No iPod nor Zen

I guess I won’t have a new iPod or Zen anymore…don’t want my baby to spend that much money.

Thank you baby for all the stuff you bought me. Can’t wait untill you come back! Miss you so much!

Funny Thing

Here is a funny incident that happened Monday night.

My sister was leaving for HK, so I drove her to the airport. Then I went to the back of a mall on Airport Rd. and parked my car. I wanted to read and wait for her call to make sure she can get on the plane (because her seat wasn’t confirmed). So then, after a while, this car comes into the parking lot and parked a few spaces away from me. Then this couple (not young…an middle-aged couple…that’s what makes this incident funny) gets out from the car and makes out! They seemed to be totally unaware of me. Every time a car pass by, they would stop, and continued when that car was gone. Finally, my sister calls me saying that she can leave; I could go home now. I wondered what would happen if I started my car now? The couple is still kissing (and who knows what else they are doing). I started my car and began to drive away. As I pass by the couple, they stared at me; the woman looked really surprised!

Ok, my "narration" is terrible. I can’t really tell a story. But I guess there is a lesson learned here. When you think you are doing something in secret, there’s someone watching.

Finally!

Oh yeah man! Finally, the end of exams! I feel so relieved now…time to go play!

Statistic mark is out. So sad…it’s a record low…but I guess it’s ok. Too late to do anything about it now. Just have to focus more next year on that Probability course, and that Regression Analysis course. Oh well.

I am still debating whether to get the iPod or not. Are there better alternatives? I mean, there is the Creative Zen, Samsung, iRiver, etc…they seem to have more features. For one thing, they all have a colour screen! And so much more recording options! Can’t decide. I don’t want baby to spend that much money. I love the iPod…but is it a good investment? I don’t know…

This is it! Tomorrow is the Economics and Combinatorics exam! I did two old Economics exams so far…going to do the Combinatorics one tonight. Hope I can wake up tomorrow morning and stay awake!

Countdown to Failure

Ahh! It’s Wednesday already, and I haven’t done much studying…I have been solving MAT344 problems, but I haven’t touched ECO202 yet. I printed out past tests, but haven’t done them yet. I don’t know, just don’t feel like doing it. But I have to start soon…real soon…because the exams is less then one week away.

Baby, thanks for the call at work. So surprising! So sweet!

One Week Off

FINALLY…the statistics exam is OVER. Fortunately, it wasn’t terribly hard…just a lot of caculations (being me, I hate caculations…I wish they didn’t allow calculators…that way there would be no calculations). Good thing memorizing all those formulas was useful…

One week off until my last two exams in May. This time, I have to really study for Combinatorics…all those graph-theory stuff. Hope it turns out alright. In the mean time, other than studying, it is time to go summer-job searching.

After a morning of reading over my notes, things begin to make sense again. The theory behind the stuff is fairly straightforward; I guess I just can’t remember all those formulas, especially those for regression analysis.
